  I would advise against renting from this company and would definitely NOT if you are military. I found them to be quite dishonest and rude. The 2.5 years we rented from them was ok, with the biggest issue being lack of responsiveness to us and our requests. When it came time to move out, they tried to refuse prorated rent even though I gave 3 months notice and had to leave under the lease's military clause. It took me consulting with our JAG and threatening a lawsuit to get them to comply. Once we moved out and had left the area I eventually got a letter with listed move out charges and they charged us for a bunch of stuff I told them needed to be fixed anyway and had needed to be fixed since we moved in! Herb is a rude and dishonest owner/manager and I would never deal with him again.
